What we do
We are the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church - part of the Adventist community of 20 million people, with hundreds of thousands of churches around the world and the largest integrated health and education network on the planet.
We provide humanitarian and development assistance to people in more than 130 countries - regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender or religion.
By partnering with local communities, organizations and governments, we are able to implement culturally relevant programs and build local capacity for sustainable change.

Our leadership
David Masinde
ADRA Mozambique Country Director
David's career at ADRA Mozambique began in 2010 as Deputy Director of Finance, drawing on his financial experience gained in roles in South Africa and Zimbabwe. His dedication led him to become Director of Finance in 2015 and then Country Director in 2020. Throughout his tenure, he led the growth of ADRA Mozambique's project portfolio, increasing the budget from 2 million dollars in 2017 to an impressive 30 million dollars in 2024.
With a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of East Africa, Baraton, in Kenya, and a Master's in International Development from Andrews University in the United States, David honed his skills in program supervision, financial management, resource mobilization, human resource management, auditing, logistics and compliance with grant requirements at ADRA Mozambique.
Her experience also includes relationships with various donors, including the European Union, USAID, BHA, the World Bank, Blue Action Fund, Global Affairs Canada and the Global Fund for AIDS, highlighting her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.
