This visit was part of\nof the project \"Coastal Lifeline - A provincial approach to the empowerment of fishing communities\nempowerment of fishing and farming communities for the adoption of nature-based solutions in Mozambique\".\nnature-based solutions in Mozambique\", also known as Wilipihera,\nwhich means Resilience in Emakwa.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;text-align: justify;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-repeat: initial;background-attachment: initial\"><span style=\"font-size:15.0pt;,sans-serif;color:black\">The main objective of the Wilipihera project is to promote the\nadoption of Ecosystem-Based Adaptation (EbA) and Disaster Risk Reduction approaches in 10 fishing-farming\nDisaster Risk Reduction in 10 fishing-farming communities in the districts of Memba, Mogincual\ndistricts of Memba, Mogincual, Nacala-Porto and Ilha de Mo\u00e7ambique. These\nsustainable practices of small-scale fishing and family farming are\nsector agriculture are essential for strengthening the environmental and economic resilience of local\ncommunities, guaranteeing the sustainability of natural resources and\nimproving people's living conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;text-align: justify;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-repeat: initial;background-attachment: initial\"><span style=\"font-size:15.0pt;,sans-serif;color:black\">During the five-day visit, the Blue Action Fund,\nhad the opportunity to visit the Community Fishing Councils (CCP) and the vegetable\nvegetable fields set up as part of the project.
