The secret that changed Afssa's life in the Madjuva community, Matutuíne district

This is Afssa Djetalane (16 years old), who lives in the locality of Madjuva, Bela Vista Administrative Post, in the district of Matutuíne. She lives with her parents and siblings. Afssa has been a member of the "Kendlemuka Madjuva" Club since January 2022, has taken part in training on sexual reproductive health and business leadership facilitated by the MSRHP project in her community, and today tells us her success story in business management.
"As soon as I took part in the business leadership training, I began to put my knowledge into practice.
cI was able to make a profit on my purchases, as my parents have a small grocery store at home. I took part in business management training and started calculating all the profits from each product sold in our grocery store." he said.
In the district of Matutuíne, the MSRH Project has facilitated around four trainings for 75 adolescent girls in the three target communities, namely: Training on Sexual Reproductive Health; Business Leadership; Cutting and Sewing and now, the project is facilitating training on Savings and Credit.

"I feel very happy now, because through the club's activities I've learned a lot and I'm already able to raise awareness among girls my age, at school and in the community about the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, as well as early pregnancy"he said.
The MSRHP project's interventions have positively met Afssa's expectations and now she is
testifies with gratitude: "When ADRA said they were going to provide us with start-up kits for our own businesses, I didn't believe them, I had a certain amount of doubt. But now we're here, we already have our own businesses established and today we're making our first profit distribution. I received 1,500 meticais from the profits of our business and with this money I intend to help my parents buy my own school supplies, as well as pay for my school transport. I dream of one day finishing secondary school and continuing my studies until university"he concluded.
