What We Do

We are the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church—part of the 20-million strong Adventist community, with hundreds of thousands of churches globally and the world’s largest integrated healthcare and education network.

We deliver relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 130 countries—regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association.

By partnering with local communities, organizations, and governments, we are able to deliver culturally relevant programs and build local capability for sustainable change.

David Masinde

Director Nacional da ADRA Moçambique

David Masinde ingressou na ADRA Moçambique em 2010 como Director Adjunto de Finanças, após acumular experiência na África do Sul e no Zimbabué. Em 2015, tornou-se Director de Finanças e, em 2020, assumiu o cargo de Director Nacional.

Sob a sua liderança, o orçamento da ADRA Moçambique cresceu significativamente, de 2 milhões de dólares em 2017 para 30 milhões em 2024. David tem uma vasta experiência em gestão de programas, captação de recursos, gestão de pessoal, auditoria, logística e conformidade com subsídios.

Com uma Licenciatura em Administração de Empresas pela Universidade de Eastern Africa, Baraton (Quénia), e um Mestrado em Desenvolvimento Internacional pela Andrews University (EUA).

Korey Dowling has served as ADRA’s Vice President for People & Culture after serving the South Pacific Division in human resources management and recruitment. He provided HR advice to ADRA operations in the South Pacific and served on the ADRA board in Australia before accepting his current role. Dowling commenced his HR career in the United Kingdom in talent management before returning to Australia to work in training and development before joining the South Pacific Division head office in HR. Dowling has qualifications in business, human resource management, and training and development.
